Hello Crafty Friends! I don't know about you but I could do with a touch of spring right now so I created a spring inspired floral mixed media card which I have up on the Magenta blog today.
I started with Golden's Qor watercolor Cold Press Ground paste and spread it on a craft mat. Once it had set up a bit, I stamped into it with the Poppies stamp. Once dry, I coloured the flowers with Pink and Golden Yellow Nuance powders, the stems with Grass Green and the background with Turquoise Nuance powder. While that was drying, I heat embossed stamped the Water Your Soul with Love sentiment on vellum and distressed the edges. I cut pieces of patterned paper to cover a 6 1/4 x 4 1/4" card base and distressed them it. To finish it off, i glued all the pieces down.
