Peek A Boo, I See You!

My first blog post went up with Magenta.  I had some fun coming up with an alliterative title for the post... Pimp Your Patterned Paper with Punches.  From the title you can see a whole lot of punching goin' on.  My background design inspiration was a cosy knit sweater.  Perfect for the cooler weather as we approach Fall.

Supplies: patterned papers (Magenta), punches (Fiskars, Martha Stewart, Stampin' Up, Recollections), ink and cardstock (CTMH), flourishes and jewels (Prima), pen (Creative Memories)

The photos are some really funny early shots of Alexandria at 10 months.  She was such a smiley easy going baby. She would actually sit like that without squirming.  She loved to play or rather watch finger/hand games/songs and her most favourite game was peek-a-boo.  This is evident from that beaming smile on her face.  Her smile brings a smile to my face without fail!

Here are some close ups of the details.

My full instructions on how to make the layout as well as those fun flowers can be found here.

Wow - love, love, love how you made the background with the puched stripes. it really reminds me of one of my fav woolen jackets - a white one with lots of coordinating laces. If I ever does this on a page, and don't leave you credit for the idea, probably becuase I can't remember who I stole the idea from, please remind me!
