Hugs Card

This card makes me smile and feel all warm and fuzzy as I am really pleased with my watercolour painting progress.

Supplies: XL 140 lb cold press watercolour paper (Canson), Gansai Tambi watercolour paints (Kuretake), Studio G shaped card (Hampton Art), black cardstock (Bazzill), Painted Hugs die and Assorted Moonshine sequins (Simon Says Stamp)

I broke out my Gansai Tambi watercolours and painted some expressive floral roses and leaves for Day 14 of Kathy Racoosin's 30 Days of ColouringOnce I was done that, I decided to fussy cut them out and create a card with few of the pieces.

The card came together quickly after that point. I splattered some green watercolour paint onto the cute scalloped Studio G cardbase. Once dry, I arranged the roses and leaves and adhered them in layers and added added foam squares for dimension on the smaller rose and a couple of leaves. Next, I added the Hugs sentiment which I die cut with the Simon Says Stamp Painted Hugs die. Lastly, I adhered the smallest sequins from the Simon Says Stamp Assorted Moonshine sequins. Et violà, a hand made flower card!

I am entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Handmade Flowers Challenge, the Flower Challenge #6, and the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #66.
