CAS Watercolour Pairs

More watercolouring and Simon Says Stamp products were used for today's colouring creation. I went with a cool and warm pair in a CAS design as I take part in SSS Flickr group challenge 126 "Crazy for Coloring" in honour of Kathy Raccosin's the Daily Marker 30 Day coloring challenge and World Watercolour Month.

I used an emboss resist for the small flowers from the Spring Flowers stamp set and then used the Brush Strokes Messages rectangle with Debbie Hughes' Palette card of Daniel Smith watercolours along with water misting and painting in the flowers with more concentrated colour. The Happy Birthday sentiment from the Brush Strokes Messages Set is stamped with black Archival ink and the clear heat embossed to make it pop.

Supplies:  Brush Strokes Messages stamp set, Spring Flowers stamp set, Fine Clear embossing powder (Simon Says Stamp), Debbie's Palette card of Daniel Smith watercolours, watercolour paper and Tim Holtz Black Soot Archival ink (Ranger), jewels (Dollarama)

For the cool colours version of my CAS stamped watercolouring, I used Debbie Hughes' Palette card of Daniel Smith watercolours in Sap Green, Ultramarine Turquoise, and Phthalo Green Blue Shade. Clear jewels were added to finished it off.

Supplies:  Brush Strokes Messages stamp set, Spring Flowers stamp set, Fine Clear embossing powder (Simon Says Stamp), Debbie's Palette card of Daniel Smith watercolours, Watercolour paper and Tim Holtz Black Soot Archival ink (Ranger), glitter glue Hampton Arts, jewels (Dollarama)

For the warm colours version, I used Brush Strokes Messages rectangle with Debbie Hughes' Palette card of Daniel Smith watercolours in Hansa Yellow, Pyrrol Scarlet, Quinacridone Coral, Cinacridone Rose along with painting in the flowers with more concentrated colour and then adding glitter and jewels.
